The electricity conundrum

We are planning to visit our home town in the hot and humid summer. To be honest, I am looking forward to some warmth. Though I might be hot and humid but I'll be dry for a while.

Now here is the conundrum, whats the best solution for getting over the massive load-shedding crisis that we face. I know there are numerous Generators for sale and the consistent UPS solution that is being adopted as a continuously evolving solution.

It there a permanent solution to this problem. Permanent sustainable solution. Like solar energy, or wind or some other miracle electricity supply that can be installed in the home or office to be completely off the grid.

Remote controlled anything

There is a small lake where we live, its more of an artifical pond.

My younger brother has an rc plane and my wife mentioned that when our father visit we could get him a rc boat which we can then take to the lake/pond. My father was in the Navy and well it seems like a good idea.

But before we can get there, I have to get my Dad to come visit.

Now onto that mission.

Spider Man Vs Batman

The other day my wife and I were watching the Dark Night.

Now please note, I am a big fan of Batman. He is the real deal. No paranormal activity happening here, nothing suspiscious, no nuclear spider bites or anything like that. Just plain gadgets.

My wife is a Spider Man fan.

I'll let you all decide. The guy in the black suide, or the upside down spider in red spandex.
